The terms governing use of the TalentHub platform in its current Zambia-first operating model, including the principle that subscriptions purchase access to services — not employment.

These Terms govern use of the TalentHub recruitment and career platform ("TalentHub", "we", "us"). They reflect the current Zambia-first operating model. References to future international functionality describe functionality that may be introduced and are not represented as currently available.

1. Platform Purpose

TalentHub is a recruitment and career platform that connects candidates with employers, provides AI-assisted career tools, and supports job discovery, applications and related services.

2. Eligibility

Users must be eligible to work and to enter into agreements under applicable law. Users under 18 must use the platform with appropriate authorisation. By creating an account, a user represents that they meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and for activity on their account.
  • Users must provide accurate information and update it when it changes.

4. Candidate Responsibilities

4.1 Accurate information

  • Candidates must provide accurate profile, qualification, employment and document information.

4.2 CV and profile information

  • Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their CV and profile content. TalentHub is not responsible for verifying every statement a candidate makes.

4.3 Job applications

  • Candidates apply for vacancies through the platform. Applying does not guarantee an interview or offer.

5. Employer Responsibilities

5.1 Vacancies

  • Employers must post genuine vacancies with accurate descriptions, requirements and, where shown, salary information.

5.2 Matching and shortlisting

  • TalentHub may provide AI-assisted matching and shortlisting recommendations. Employers make their own recruitment decisions and are responsible for their selection and hiring outcomes.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

  • TalentHub offers subscription plans that provide access to defined career tools and services (for example CV review, interview coaching and enhanced profile features).
  • Candidate subscriptions purchase access to TalentHub services. They are a service subscription only.

Payment of a TalentHub subscription does not purchase, guarantee or improve entitlement to a particular job, interview, overseas placement, visa or work permit.

  • Subscriptions do not create a pay-to-job architecture and do not influence employer recruitment decisions on behalf of any candidate.
  • Fees, billing cycles and plan features are displayed on the platform at the time of subscription.
  • Cancellation: subscriptions may be cancelled as described in the platform's subscription management features. Cancellation does not affect fees already incurred.

7. International Recruitment Safeguard

  • TalentHub may, in future, support employer-funded international recruitment opportunities.
  • Access to employer-funded international recruitment must not depend upon a candidate purchasing a paid subscription. Free candidates must remain eligible for legitimate employer-funded international opportunities where appropriate.
  • Paid subscriptions provide enhanced career technology and services. They do not purchase jobs, interviews, visas, work permits or overseas placements.
  • This clause is a governance commitment. The international recruitment engine is not currently implemented.

8. Prohibited Activity

Users must not:

  • Post fake or misleading vacancies;
  • Engage in fraud, misrepresentation or dishonesty;
  • Submit false or forged documents;
  • Attempt to access another user's private documents, account or information without authorisation;
  • Use the platform for unlawful, harmful or deceptive purposes;
  • Interfere with the platform's operation or security.

9. Candidate Documents and Intellectual Property

  • Candidates retain ownership of the content of their CVs and documents. By uploading, they grant TalentHub and relevant employers a limited licence to use the content for the purpose of the platform's services (matching, applications, verification where applicable).
  • TalentHub retains rights to platform content, branding, software and design.

10. Platform Availability and Third-Party Services

  • TalentHub does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates and outages may occur.
  • The platform may link to or integrate third-party services (for example payment providers). TalentHub is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

11. Recruitment Decisions and No Guarantees

  • TalentHub does not guarantee:
    • Employment;
    • An interview;
    • An international placement;
    • A visa or work authorisation.
  • Employer recruitment decisions are the employer's responsibility. TalentHub's AI tools are recommendation aids only.

12. Privacy

  • TalentHub's handling of personal information is described in the TalentHub Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Suspension and Termination

  • TalentHub may suspend or terminate access where a user breaches these Terms, engages in prohibited activity, or where required to protect the platform or other users.
  • Users may close their account through the platform's account features or by contacting TalentHub.

14. Complaints

  • Complaints should be submitted through the platform's contact channel. TalentHub will review and respond to complaints appropriately.

15. Limitation Principles

  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, TalentHub's liability is limited in relation to the services provided. TalentHub does not accept liability for employer recruitment decisions, third-party actions, or outcomes that depend on factors outside TalentHub's control.

16. Changes to Terms

  • TalentHub may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in a new version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Framework and Contact

  • These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to TalentHub's Zambian operating environment unless otherwise required by law.
  • Questions or notices should be directed to TalentHub through the platform's contact channel.

These Terms do not create a pay-to-job architecture. Subscriptions are for access to services only. Separate terms for candidates, employers and partners may apply in future. Country-specific provisions may apply where TalentHub operates across multiple jurisdictions.
